Went to the Ranger game last night.. it was soo much fun... it was a good time to hang out with my family and have fun.. We won the score was 4-1..

He Finally DID

well things around here have been good, glad the scare was over... well im sure your wondering what the pic is for.. last week i got paid, and i thought to myself wow i havent baught anything for myself in a while.. after making care packages for seth, paying bills and all that sort i really never had enough money left over. well this paycheck i had some extra so i went out and baught a brand new cute lil outfit.. i love it.. it looks good on me as my mil said... anyways thought i would share it with everyone... if you havent done anything for youself lately go out and do something you deserve it..have a good weekend..

a Scare..
WEll im finally updating..
So its been a while, things have been extremely busy around here. Which is a good and a bad thing i guess. Work is going good, keeping me busy and my mind off of thinking about seth being gone so much. Lets just say i know im tired at the end of the day when i get home. on to the story.
I am at work on Friday, usually by 10 am my phone starts making text noises, i flip it open and its my wonderful husband texting his daily i love you messages.. well friday, i look down at my clock on my phone and its 12, and wondering why seth hasnt texted me yet. At that same moment my phone makes a noise.. yeah i have a text. so i open it up thinking that its sethand its from our friend gabe, seths friend who is stationed with him in Iraq. He was like good morning Kate how are you, i said doing fine where is seth. He said i dont know.. well by this time i am kind of worried but knowledgable about what can happen over there. but for his friend to not know. So gabe and i contunied to talk and time went by. Well seth never got on. So its about 3 and my phone rings and its a 405 number not a clue who it could be, so i pick up( most military wifes and moms know what im talking about, the phone is glued to them and they pick it up whenever it rings no matter what..) and the lady on the other end was like hi my name is so and so from the Red Cross, my heart sinks.. my stomach turns and i have this weird feeling.. but thinking in the back of my mind, well red cross doesnt call you when something happens to a soldier they usually come to your house. well anyways she ask who it was on the phone and I told her my name and then she said is this your phone number and i was like yeah my cell. then she said thanks you have a nice day and hung up. I was freaked, i started crying at work. scared out of my mind. So anyways i get home and my mil was like hey i talked to fred( soldier friend of hers) and he said its a hoix, not to believe it. But i called the number back and it said thank you for calling american red cross. so by this time im really freaked out. Well I get up on Saturday and go to work, and at 10 am my phone makes the text noise, and sure enough it was my sweetie, the power went out in his room so he just went to bed.. I was so relieved, hehe..
This Weekend:
This weekend was mothers day, after work on Saturday my cousin and I went out to kaufman county where seths nanny lives. We packed our bags, loaded the three wheeler and took off. We get down there and we start riding, we had a three wheeler and my brothers brand new four wheeler ( sweetness), then they cook dinner RIBS.. omg it was sooo good, so then me and caleb( my cuz) decide to go to wal-mart and get some stuff, well we end up getting beer...lol so we get back to the house put the tail gate down on the truck and stay up till three.. needless to say we missed breakfest and lunch we didnt get up till 1130... hehe then we went riding again, nanny has a lot of land so we go out on the back side of the property and just tear it up, mud holes and everything, i was filthy... omg it was sooo much fun!!!!
it just sucks cause seth isnt home to have the fun with us, but i told him not to worry cause we will have so much fun when he gets back home..
This weekend was awesome and I cant wait till tommorow, i have a date with seth with our webcams and voice chat.. i look forward to every monday.. were so lucky to have the things we have these days..
this iraq tour is half way over, and they talk like ther coming back early.. even though i take it with a grain of salt..but something to wish for and think about...there something special about military wives, if they get through a one year tour of iraq they can get through anything.. happy belated military spouse day.. were all in this together and im so thankful i have friends that are going through the same thing and are there for me.. hooaahh to military wives..
seth is my dream come true and ill never have to wake up from it..

its been a while..
UPDATE UPDATE..
wow i know it has been a while, but my life for the past couple of weeks has been crazy. If its not working cause of maitence probs, picking up my cousin from the airport on emergency leave cause my g-ma is in the hospitol, to going to the emergency room myself.. wow lots to talk about..
Work was going really good, then two of the vehicles broke so they had to take them to the shop, so me and three other guys have been waiting for two weeks to go back to work. Then wensday of this week my cousin came home from military training on emergency leave. My grandmother, the rock of my life, the person who is my role model, my mom. is really sick, it hurts to know that i cant do anything for her. moving on before it comes a cry fest..lol... then this friday my tummy started hurting really bad after going to the restroom. I didnt know what from so I started out towards the front of the store that i was in, and like three steps i saw black and hit the floor. very scary i might add... so my friend rushed me to the emergency room, they did blood work, urine sample., and they couldnt find out what was wrong.. im so confused, and i have been having these stomach pains for quite some time now. NOt only did I got to the er i had no way of telling Seth... this is when it is really hard for me with him being gone. sick and not able to tell him or for him to hold me and night when i am sleeping in our huge queen bed all by myself...lol so anyways i call the bc wife because i thought at least i would let her know what was going on. well supp she told the bc well the next morning when seth went to work the bc was like im sorry to hear about your wife and he was like what is wrong.... the bc was like she went to the er last night.... scared the living crap out of Seth,,, bore baby didnt even know his woman was sick,,, so he gets to call me he is all worried and all he could keep on saying is " are you ok", and i wish i were home to take care of you,,,awwww,,,, i love that boy....
anyways so yeah taht is alot... 6 more days.....lol
i cant wait
well i hope everyone had a good weekend and even better week

Hanging out with friends and just living LIFE... my birthday is coming up and I am looking forward to it.. the BIG 20...lol yes i know im just a kid.. im just ready to be out of the teens and actually have an age that is more suited for my life style...

Saying Good by once again
Well the day that i dreaded once again came, and suprisingly I was just fine.
Seeing him again:
I arrived at the air port feb 20 with my in-laws to pick seth up. As we were getting in the terminal D we had no clue on where to go or really what to do. So we found an info desk and started heading towards it. There was no one in the airport except for a few people. When we walked up to the desk a nice lil lady said " are you hear to meet a soldier", i replied yes I am here to pick my husband up. She said " your in the right place, handed us a free parking pass, package of kleenex, and some pins for our jackat. We got something to drink and the waiting period began. A woman and her lil girl and her mother ventured over to where i was standing and asked if i was there to pick up my soldier and we started chatting. which was a good thing it made the time go by so much faster. So then a man walkes over with a green coat on and a brown hat, he was a greeter. He asked us a few questions about seth and told us that the plane had landed and to follow him over to this tunnel thing.
and more then more waiting...
Then we hear loud talking, guy voices... I turn and look at Kerry and the girl i was chatting with and said THERE COMING... i got butterflys in my stomach...lol
All the soldiers started walking in, one by one went down the tunnel, people cheering, whistling, yelling.. all kinds of groups of people where there to meet them. Girl scouts, high school groups, att, and then just random people with kids.... Not one soldier got through with out a hug, handshake, pat on the back, or a free gift of some kind.
Then the moment I had been waiting for all day... I see my man...lol
I attacked him like a lioness on her prey..lol
We went through the tunnel out to our car.. and thats when our two weeks began...
R&R..
Seth and I had a blast, we went bowling, movies, we went on a date..lol umm all sorts of things... then the two weeks ended...
Take him back...
We got to the air port on wed.. he checked in and got his boarding pass... we went to the other side...
We stopped in to the USO... which by the way is sooo cool, and i met the nicest lil old ladies there, so sweet and generous, and absotuly love soldiers.. they give them food, drinks, phones to call home, laptops, they can watch movies, sleep...
so then we go eat at Fridays... and of course the whole time I am in pain, my back hurts from the sickness that I had.. so of courst I am misserable, seth feels bad cause of me...
So then we find his gate and go sit and just chat and just make the time go by...
Well it is 6:30 the time he is supposed to get on and board, so we make our way to the gate... I give him the biggest hug and the wetest kisss EVER..lol
and then he is offf...
Times are hard when he is away, it seems like all the bad stuff happens...
Seth is gone for 8 more months but life goes on.. I am becoming a woman, more independent and i have a great job...
But at the same time i miss him sooo much and hate the fact that he is missing all of our first...
I love you seth.. and I am sooo glad that I have you to spend the rest of my life with and a year is nothing compared to a live time i will have with you..
Im honored to be an Army wife, and more importantly YOURS...

He's Off
Well Seth left the other world yesterday, he made it to the land between good and bad... lol.. And he is heading for the homestead tommorow night. I will be in his arms less than 30 hours, and Im jumping for JOY... woop woop...

The JOb
Well i started my job today... well I have this really bad habbit that i think i picked up somewhere during high school or somewhere. I think I even got it from my mother, but its worrying. And I am the master of it... I fret and worry until i make myself sick and I dont understand why. It all started last night when i was trying to figure out when i needed to go to bed and what time i needed to wake up. I had to get up early enough to drive across town 30 min one ways get a test result then drive another 30 min back to be at work. I had to be there at 9, and traffic that early in the morning is a bitch..
Well i ended up being at work an hour early and just hung out and saw some things and learned somethings that i didnt know
Today was great...
Seth will be home in days....

Valentines Day
This year things wernt so lovey dovey and all the hobble gobble of the love day. Something about not having your love one here helps a lot with that. lol..
Seth is gone this year but thats ok, he comes home in just a few days soo we will do something then. Valentines day is soooo overated i think, everyone makes it out to be this great Holiday and all it really should be is about Love and to know that you are loved. People that dont have a Valentine feel so bad on this day, and they shouldnt cause someone somewhere loves them.
Like last night me and my mil went to the grocery store to get some bread and other things and there were at least a hundred people rushing around trying to find there special someone a gift, i was like wow now we know who waites till the last minute...lol
Well i hope everyone had a good valentines day, and if you dont have a valentine, dont worry somebody still loves you....

NEw NEWS...
Well i know That is has been a while since i have updated. I am quite the busy girl these days. I resemble a chicken with its head cut off. But i think this week all weirdness and unormality of my problems has ended.
I start my new job on wednesday, I am toatally excited.!!!
Seth will be coming home in a few days, yeah my calender has lots of X's and a huge circle around the date, and has My mil said i have the countdown on my door.
Were throwing a party for him the first weekend he is home so all of our family and friends can see him. I just hope his r&r is good for him and it goes by really slow....
